Digital Witchcraft
Digital Witchcraft formed in the year 2000 as Ned Shepard and Marcus Andrew, a couple students attending a recording school in Orlando Florida. Influenced by Sasha & John Digweed's Northern Exposure series, Pink Floyd, and other popular progressive house and rock artists, Ned and Marcus decided they wanted their contribution to electronic music to include more melodious riffs and smoother beats. In his Myspace, Ned says "We stayed up late, talked about the world, listened to Northern Exposure cd's and decided that we wanted to hear more melodic music again." And so, for half a decade, the two have made their mark in progressive house history while remaining a relatively underground group.
Of the several various tracks Digital Witchcraft has produced, Fingerpaint has perhaps been the most successful, being their most remixed song.
Of the few public DJ sets they have mixed, their most popular has been Proton Radio Mix. Six of their mixes are available for free download at hybridized.org. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
